A current transformer is an electrical device used to measure high currents with meters with smaller measuring ranges. The 3 main tasks of transducers include: - measurements with small range meters, - separation of galvanic instruments from the controlled circuit, - enabling devices to be placed at a considerable distance from the controlled circuit.
