Servoamplifiers and inverters

The servo mechanism processes input signals into output signals. Usually the input signal is different from the input signal, e.g. the input signal can be the pulse duration and the output signal the axis rotation angle. Servomechanisms allow you to control the position, speed and torque. The electric motor in cooperation with the inverter (frequency converter) allows for smooth speed regulation. Servo components are: - input signal stage, responsive to the transmission of control signals; e.g. PLC controllers with positioning modules; - part of the controllers is a section of signal processing, receiving feedback signals of the motor position from the encoder and issuing them to the motor. Servo amplifiers are this part; - the part related to the drive, which are servomotors (servo motors). Servo drives usually have a built-in encoder with connector, servo motor shaft and power connector connecting with power supplies. The function of servo amplifiers and frequency converters is similar. The main difference, however, is that the servo amplifier uses a dynamic brake, absorbing the inertia energy of the servomotor.

Actuators and inverters

Servo drives are used to position the axes in accordance with the assumed motion parameters, such as rotational speed of the motor shafts. The servo drive is one of the basic elements of modern industrial automation and is characterized by a constant torque over the entire speed range. The servo drive allows a specific machine to work faster and more accurately, which in turn translates into its efficiency. The inverter converts direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC). It is also called frequency converter, inverter, DC / AC. The transducer is necessary for the correct operation of the machine, the task of which is to work according to strictly defined parameters. Offers speed control with high torque at the same time.

Servo control cards

Servo control cards are one of the basic building blocks of sero drives. Control boards for servo drives for adjusting the electric motor settings. The adjustable engine parameters include rotational speed or position. The controllers, apart from the computing unit, also provide input and output modules, which enable the analysis of information from the encoder and other sensors.

Braking modules

Braking modules are also called choppers. They are used to stop the drive system in the shortest possible time. The use of a braking module with resistors prevents the drive from turning off during dynamic engine operation and dissipates excess energy, turning it into heat or returns it directly to the network.

Subassemblies for servo amplifiers and inverters are components included in the inverter and servo amplifier assembly. The components of the inverter include rectifier, power module, control and protection system. The servo amplifier consists of a speed control system, a current control system and a pulse modulator.

Soft starters

A softstarter is a device whose task is to facilitate the starting of the electric motor. Its application eliminates unfavorable phenomena occurring during the machine start-up, such as e.g. current surge or torque surge. Softstarters enable safe and economical operation of the system and maintain the durability of the electrical and mechanical system.
