Rulers and measuring heads

Rulers and measuring heads are devices used in automation systems and CNC machine tools to precisely measure the position, offset or movement of mechanical components. They are a key component of feedback systems that control the accuracy and repeatability of processes in industrial machines. Rulers: are linear position meters. They consist of guides and a measuring scale (such as glass or steel) on which reference points are written. Thanks to them, it is possible to determine the exact distance of movement of components. Measuring heads: are elements that read data from the scale. They work on the optical, magnetic or inductive principle, converting the read values into electrical signals that go to the control system. Application: -CNC machine tools: provide precise control of tools in the X, Y and Z axes. -Cutting and molding machines: guarantee high accuracy in operation and minimize dimensional errors. -Measuring systems: enable position monitoring in production lines and other automation systems. Precise interaction of scales and measuring heads allows the highest standards of accuracy, which is crucial in industries such as automotive, aerospace and electronics manufacturing.
