Operator panels and spare parts

Operator panel, control panel, or HMI (Human Machine Interface) - is a group of electrical devices enabling the control of industrial devices responsible for the technological and manufacturing process. The operator's panel comes in various forms, it can be part of a set of control elements of specific device units The purpose of such a device is always the same: human (operator) communication with the machine The operator controls using HMI processes e.g. production based on many signals or parameters displayed on specialized displays. The forms and components of operator panels (HMI) are specific and characteristic of machines and devices controlled by them, mainly classified into the category of industrial automation devices. Modern control panels are most often equipped with touch screens (Touchpanel). Touch panels and touchpaneles completely replace the functionality of the keyboard and buttons on the operator's cover. A touch on the screen transmits control signals. The machine control keyboard buttons (including e.g. sliders, potentiometers, joysticks, numeric keypads) can be displayed on the screen. In some HMI solutions, the display screen only has an informative function, providing relevant information, signals and parameters from the device to the man (operator) serving them. The matrices of these displays are also very device-specific. They differ in size given mainly in inches and type of matrix work (e.g. LED, LCD, Plasma). The screen can be integrated into the machine or be a separate monitor. A common solution in industrial plants are even older generation CRT (cathode ray tube) monitors or more modern but less economical PDP (plasma) monitors. The most common group, however, are LCD (liquid crystal) monitors with TFT technology and based on the OLED solution. HMI panels with appropriate software can be part of industrial computers. They usually have the functionality of connecting separate devices such as PLC controllers, communication modules, etc. The operator panel can also specify a separate device for controlling and controlling the work of e.g. inverters (inverters, frequency converters).

Masks

The grilles are intended to protect the touch panel against damage. Due to the specific environment in factories, masking frames are often used to protect panels against dust and mechanical damage. Masks close the touch panel in a plastic frame. However, the screen itself is protected by a special foil.

However, modern touch screens are often used in wireless panels. Touch panels allow you to increase the functionality of the device. LCD, LED, Plasma Matrixes

Matrices are responsible for displaying the image on the monitor screen. The quality of the matrix translates into image quality and comfort of use. We can distinguish three types of matrices: IPS, TN and VA. There are several types of screens that differ in technology. Screens and displays can be divided into plasma and LCD. Plasma displays are characterized by a short response time, good viewing angle and black representation. We categorize LCD screens depending on the screen backlight used. We distinguish between LED and CCFL. These displays are characterized by high image quality and attractive price. We also offer Plasm displays.

Inverters and lamps

Inverters, otherwise known as inverters or voltage converters. Inverters convert direct current into alternating current. Inverters, depending on the mode of operation, are divided into three groups. Working independently from the external power grid, working in close connection with the energy system and hybrid. Hybrid inverters can work both as network and island.

Monitors for machines

Industrial monitors are used to visualize production processes. They are most often used with an industrial computer. Depending on the needs, we can distinguish many options for mounting monitors, e.g. in control cabinets, wall-mounted, on extension arms and panel mounting. Industrial monitors are divided according to: matrix type, screen diagonal, image size, brightness, response time and mode of operation.

Others

Subassemblies for operator panels are components ensuring communication between the machine and the user. The elements included in the panel include: displays, motherboards, communication and power modules, casings and touch matrices. The panels can be divided according to the type of service, display size and internal memory. Often, operator panels can be built into industrial computers.

Operator panel casings

Operator panels housings are used to protect the interior of the device against external damage. Operator panel housings often contain additional functions to optimize the operation and performance of the device. Additional functions include fans responsible for cooling the inside of the casing, fastening elements and specialist cutouts. Panel housings are made of: aluminum, stainless steel, polyester and polycarbonate.
